4-Day Zhangjiajie Itinerary

One extra day beyond the 3-day highlights lets you add the Glass Bridge or Yellow Dragon Cave—or both. Ideal for a relaxed week-long trip including travel days.

Days 1–3: Core Highlights (Same as 3-Day)

Day 1: Tianmen Mountain. Route A (cable up, bus down). Glass skywalk, Tianmen Cave, 999 steps. Stay in Wulingyuan or downtown.
Day 2: Forest Park east route. Wulingyuan Gate → Ten-Mile Gallery → Bailong Elevator → Yuanjiajie (Hallelujah Mountain, First Bridge, Soul Lost Terrace) → Tianzi Mountain.
Day 3: Golden Whip Stream (morning) + Huangshi Village (afternoon). Or Ten-Mile Gallery if you prefer.

Day 4: Choose Your Adventure

Option A—Glass Bridge: Morning: Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. Book a time slot in advance. 1–2 hours. Return to Wulingyuan for lunch. Optional: Yellow Dragon Cave in the afternoon (~2 hr).
Option B—Caves & Lake: Morning: Yellow Dragon Cave (stalactites, underground river). Afternoon: Baofeng Lake (¥96). Calm, scenic. Good for a slower pace.
Option C—Relax: Sleep in. Stroll Xibu Street. Revisit a favorite spot in the Forest Park (4-day ticket allows re-entry). Depart in the afternoon.

Tips

Glass Bridge slots sell out in peak season—book 3–5 days ahead. Yellow Dragon Cave is cool (~16°C); bring a light jacket. If you're afraid of heights, skip the Glass Bridge and do Option B.
